About Eddie Browning
I am a grandfather and a great grandfather and when my granddaughter or great granddaughter would come to visit they would say, “Granddad, tell me a story.”
From these stories came the adventures of Pok’along and now for the first time in book form, Pok’along in the Valley of the Digadoos, Pok’along in the Land of Noso, and Pok’along in the War with Tarifess. Book four in progress.
Pok’along, one of the main characters in the book Pok’along in the Valley of the Digadoos was created around a real live rabbit by the name of “Little Bit” who thought he was a human. He came to live with me when he was just two inches long but soon grew to the 15 pound master of his kingdom (My back yard.) For the next 12 years the back yard was a battle ground between my wife, Norma, and Little Bit, as to whose flowers, vegetables, and plants belonged to whom. Guess who won out.
Stories are to help children learn what friendship is and why it will be important throughout their lives. Parents and grandparents enjoy reading books showing purpose and encourage children they read too.
